a definite commitment

Well, so about a month ago I joined curves, a couple weeks before that, i decided to put to paper what i was allowed to eat and what exercise i was going to do. I started at 162, today i weigh 153. When I began at curves I weighed 155. When i got my weight and measurement done the other day, I had lost 6.5 inches all over and 2 lbs. I lost .10 of my body fat percentage. I am now 33% body fat which is 50.49 lbs of fat. I am happy, overall it has made me feel better to work out. Being locked into a year contract makes sure I have to keep up with it because I'm not wasting $34 a month on it. :) I am excited and cant wait to see what I weigh in august. I think I might post more on here.

weigh in 2

well i had a set back :( i gained weight back. I now weigh 158.8 blah well it just means i should be more diligent and actually work out. I'm also going to get my thyroid checked soon

food diary 2

I woke up and had toast with peanut butter and nutella. then I had a steamer meal the one pasta magherita. I then had a what the fudge brownie ice cream and a sandwich with mayo mustard ham and lots of veggies :) this food diary isnt so bad

Food Diary

There will be no exercise entry today. But I have a food diary. I had a bowl of Oatmeal this morning. It was raisin and spice. Then I had a cup of soup the spoonable kind lol. Then I had 3 marshmallow chocolate graham cracker cookies and 2 pieces of pizza the supreme kind from Pizza Hut. I also had 2 cups of cranberry juice and a magnum almond ice cream. :) I don't feel bad about today. I didn't eat too bad because I eat pretty well most days. Plus I'm not going to feel bad and get down on myself.

Weigh in

Well today I weighed myself. I have lost 2 lbs :) if I continue this pace the week of my birthday I will be at the first goal weight of 143lbs. I now weigh 157 and feel good to know that I have made some progress and I should be happy about that. It's better to celebrate the little victories than just push on and not be happy I'm not where I want to be. WOO!!!! lol well i hope everyone is as happy as I am.

Set Point

Well I have realized that I have reset my body's set point to be higher than it should be. And I found a way to counteract this. If I lose just 10% of my body weight which would be basically 16 lbs., and then maintain this for a few months It will begin to reset my set point. 143 for a few months is something I can live with being almost 160lbs is bad and I am aware of this. The easiest way to do this is eat healthy and exercise. Which I am going to do to the best of my abilities. I hope that in 2-3 months I can have reached my goal. And honestly making myself accountable would also be the best way to do this too. So if I post what I eat here and maybe post these on my facebook as well and I believe people read them then I will feel more accountable. Tomorrow I am going to weigh in and then post my weight at night Tomorrow I will have a food journal entry and hopefully an exercise one too. I'll do these all seperate and post my weight on here and Sunflowers. My ideal weight currently is 143 overall I'm hoping for 125-130 But good things take time.

Well I have decided I do not know what to do. Lol I honestly think if I just eat healthier and exercise I would not have such a problem with my weight. I'm going to put my weigh ins up here. Just so we're aware when I started this journey, I began at 159 pounds on May 6th of this year. I should write down what I eat. But I feel like if I know someone is reading this I would post what I have been eating more frequently and be more interested in doing so. I sort of feel like no one is reading this But I am going to check the page views and comments would be appreciated. let me know I am accountable to someone other than myself or a doctor! Weight Watchers

Ok so I am not the best at this food journaling thing :p. But I have learned I am a high carb type of individual.. very high carb. So I figured out the weight watcher pointsplus system lol all from the lovely internet. and I get like 26 points a day plus 49 as a weekly allowance on top of it. Unless I work out then I earn more. Which I should work out anyways I have been up since 9:30 and have ran through those 26 points already. I had two pieces of white toast with raspberry jam a keebler pbj cracker snack and peanut butter cheese cracker snack. Oh and I had a green enchilada sauce chicken enchilada... I guessed on the points being about 10 there because my boyfriends gma made it so I have no idea how much of what was in it lol. Just erring on the side of caution. So if I ate more fiber I could eat more stuff. i have no idea if there was fiber in the enchiladas so :(  well I'm hoping to figure out a way to follow this and not be hungry or to get a healthy eating style and exercising style to lose weight

food journal 4

Yes I skipped 3 lol. I also missed doing it. Well this morning began with 2 granola bars and a two pack of swiss rolls lol. I drank water throughout the day had a few sips of soda and tea as well. I had a bowl of chicken and dumplings and a bowl of potatoes and sausage. I intend to go eat some of the corn prepared for dinner lol but never know how that's gonna go. um maybe a yogurt or something if i feel like something sweet or maybe just a good old glass of sweetened tea. I'm not sure but I probably should go to bed soon maybe lol even though i don't have to get up early it might be nice.

Food Journal 1

Well, This is the first of hopefully many food journals. I ate half a cup of cottage cheese with 3 tablespoons of apricot jam mixed in for breakfast lol. Then I ate a peanut butter and chocolate chip granola bar I had two slices of garlic cheese bread from papa murphys a peach fruit cup and a glass of juice. I've had water today. Oh and a handful of cereal(Smart Start) and probably about 3/4 of a rockstar. Looking back it looks kinda bad. I think maybe some of my eating problems come from my sporadic eating and never really eating until i'm hungry except for breakfast usually. I haven't eaten dinner really yet and it's like midnight lol. I think I may have a bowl of cereal( Raisin Bran or Smart Start) with some reduced fat milk and ummm a hot dog with a bun and some ketchup maybe hot sauce. Terrible eating I know, but if I track it out now I can see what's wrong and do better in the future. Maybe not too bad tho lol.

Food Journaling

I am using this blog for food journaling probably activity journaling too. I need to live a better life and be healthier. So I called this Parentage of a New Life. In dreams the beginning of a new healthy life is symbolized with birth and the end of the old with death. So at this moment I am trying to kill off the unhealthy habits I have to become a new healthy person. I'll add a food journal entry tonight :)
